Unveiling Abenomics: Abe's Economic Policies

Dr Motoshige Itoh will present how Shinzo Abe’s economic policies, Abenomics, is dealing with the economic challenges that Japan is facing. As a member of the Council on Economic and Fiscal Policy of the Japanese government, he has been closely involved in the formulation of the second and third ‘arrows’ of Abenomics, concerning fiscal consolidation and growth strategies to promote private sector investment. He will present and discuss the strategies and policies that the Japanese government is developing to keep Japan on the path of restoring growth.
