Eurozone Recovery: A Time for Subsidiarity, Not Complacency
Following agreement on the European Banking Union by eurozone members in March, the speaker will reflect on the importance of this new architecture in ensuring continued economic recovery. He will suggest progress remains highly dependent on domestic reform policies of member states and will examine the progress made by the crisis countries on the European periphery in areas such as consolidation of public budgets and revitalization of the banking sector.
Attendance is strictly by invitation only. To enable as open a debate as possible, this event will be held under the Chatham House Rule.
