Overview

Colombia is one of Latin America's largest economies with great economic potential, and political and social stability. While the country is increasingly attracting the attention of multinational companies, it needs to develop its infrastructure and human capital in order to sustain economic growth. This event will explore Colombia’s economic potential and challenges ahead of the country’s forthcoming presidential elections, which will be held on 25 May.

This meeting is the third in series of events held by the International Economics department as part of the new project 'Latin America: the 'Next Big Thing' within the Global Economy?'.
