Major Kitty McKendrick is a British Army Officer with 12 years of service including overseas operational tours in Iraq and Afghanistan. 

Most recently, she has spent the last two years delivering counter-terrorism education and training for NATO personnel at the Centre of Excellence Defence Against Terrorism in Ankara, Turkey.

Her research areas of interest include defence, security and the application of artificial intelligence in military operations.

Kitty is a chartered engineer, holds a BEng in Aeromechanical Systems Engineering from Cranfield University and a MSc in International Relations from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
