The speaker argues that Iranian society and the Islamic regime is moving towards a new ‘social contract’ wherein different perceptions of politics, culture and women’s rights will have more share in shaping policy - domestic, global, nuclear and cultural. He argues that Iran’s future, including its role regionally and globally, will depend on the success of these domestic negotiations.
