Overview

Panel discussions examine prospects for the conflicts in Syria and Iraq and ask what challenges Syria’s neighbouring countries could face in the coming years. With nearly half of Syria’s population displaced internally or to Lebanon, Turkey, Jordan and Iraq, how will these countries manage a protracted refugee crisis and how else might they be impacted by the conflict? How could policy responses to these challenges be improved?
