Renad Mansour discusses the mood on the ground in Iraq. Having recently returned from a trip to Baghdad, he explains why the spirit is currently high among the Iraqi people and how different groups are coming together in anticipation that ISIS will be removed from Mosul and across the region. But, he warns, this mood is temporary and political leaders should act now to take advantage of the willingness to cooperate across ideological divisions among the Iraqi people and reach a political settlement.
