Emily Taylor


Emily Taylor is Associate Fellow for International Security at Chatham House and an expert in internet governance. She has worked in the domain name industry since 1999. She is a member of the research advisory network of the Global Commission on Internet Governance. Her research publications include the annual World Report on Internationalised Domain Names (lead author), various reports on internet protocols for the UK regulator, Ofcom, and a review of the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) policy development process. She was at the UK domain name registry Nominet for ten years as Director of Legal and Policy. She serves as director of several internet companies, including Oxford Information Labs, which specializes in data mining and statistical analysis.
