Miriam Sapiro is Partner and Head of Finsbury’s office in Washington DC, where she focuses on public affairs and strategic communications with respect to cross-border transactions, crisis management, litigation and regulatory issues. She has more than 25 years’ experience in government and the private sector, including navigating through high-stakes crises and providing strategic counselling to companies and organizations on a range of trade, investment, technology policy and regulatory challenges. She served in the administrations of Presidents Reagan, Bush, Clinton and Obama, most recently as Deputy US Trade Representative and Acting US Trade Representative. She was a senior member of the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States and served on the board of directors of the Overseas Private Investment Corporation. She earned her BA from Williams College and her JD from New York University School of Law.
