Penelope Naas has been Vice-President and District Manager for International Public Affairs and Sustainability at the logistics company UPS since 2015. Before joining UPS in 2012, she worked for Citigroup in the Global Government Affairs team (2006–12), opening Citigroup’s first government affairs office in Brussels in 2007 and overseeing issues arising from the 2008 financial crisis. She worked for 13 years at the US Department of Commerce (DOC) and from 2004 to 2006 headed the Office of Europe within the DOC International Trade Administration. She has worked on White House task forces to pass trade deals involving China’s accession to the WTO and started her career at DOC conducting anti-dumping investigations into foreign companies. She graduated in Economics and has a Master’s degree in Public Policy from the University of Michigan.
