Ghassan Salame


Ghassan Salamé is Professor of International Relations at Sciences Po in Paris and the founding Dean of its Paris School of International Affairs-PSIA. He served as Lebanon’s Minister of Culture (2000–03), as Political Adviser to the UN Mission in Iraq (2003) and as Senior Adviser to the UN Secretary-General (2003–06, 2012–13). He was Chairman of the Organization Committee and Spokesman for the Arab Summit that launched the Arab Peace Initiative (2002) and is Co-Chairman of the board of the International Crisis Group (Brussels). He sits on the IMF advisory board for the Middle East.
