The Rev. Lucy Winkett is Rector of St James’s Church, Piccadilly, one of the first Anglican women to be ordained in the 1990s. She served as Canon Precentor at St Paul’s Cathedral, London. She was the founding Chair of Governors of St Mary Magdalene Educational Trust, running a Free School for students on the autistic spectrum. Until 2016, she chaired the Amos Trust, a human rights charity working with street children in South Africa and funding community projects in Israel/Palestine, Nicaragua and India. She was a founding adviser for the theology think-tank Theos and a co-founder of Leading Women, a development programme for clergy.
