Chatham House


This is a summary of an International Law Discussion Group meeting held at Chatham House on Thursday, 10 February 2011.

The event was organized to discuss the legal responsibility of international organisations in international law. In the context of the International Law Commission's Draft Articles on the Responsibility of International Organisations, the speakers discussed the circumstances in which the United Nations and other organisations are legally responsible for their 'own' actions and for what their member states do.
