About the Author
Dr Micah Zenko is the Whitehead Senior Fellow in the US and the Americas Programme at Chatham House. Previously he worked at the State Department’s Office of Policy Planning, Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government, and as a senior fellow at the Council on Foreign Relations. He has published several books, and his work has appeared in Foreign Affairs, the Journal of Strategic Studies, New York Times, Washington Post and Financial Times. He is also a regular columnist at Foreign Policy, and he provides advice for corporations, non-profits, and military and homeland security units about red teaming approaches and techniques. He obtained a PhD in Political Science from Brandeis University and is the co-author (with Michael Cohen) of Clear and Present Safety: The World Has Never Been Better and Why That Matters to Americans, forthcoming from Yale University Press.
