Chatham House organises research expertise into a set of core programmes. Some are focused on geographic area studies, and others on specific themes.

We carry out independent and rigorous analysis through the lens of our second century goals.

Our research outputs are a vital resource for leaders and policymakers. All research programmes and staff adhere to the Chatham House Principles for Independent Research and Convening, and many of our research projects are collaborations between multiple programmes.
