The Renewable Energy for Refugees project (RE4R) aimed to reduce carbon emissions, create a safer environment, and improve livelihoods to support refugees in moving towards economic independence.

As the project drew to a close, practitioners, policymakers and other experts gathered together to discuss the project as well as overall progress in the sector and the future of renewable energy in humanitarian settings.
