Biography
Ben Judah is a visiting fellow in the UK in the World programme at Chatham House in London, where he works on the future of UK–EU Relations, the UK’s approach to anti-corruption and to Britain’s Overseas Territories.
Previously, Ben served as a Special Adviser to David Lammy during his time as Foreign Secretary and Deputy Prime Minister (2024–2026) and before that led a range of think-tank research projects at both the Atlantic Council and the Hudson Institute in Washington DC on the future of Europe, Britain’s post-Brexit foreign policy and transnational kleptocracy.
He has advised progressive politicians and campaigns on both sides of the Atlantic, and is the author of three acclaimed books: Fragile Empire, a study of Vladimir Putin’s Russia; This Is London, a book on the transformation of the British capital; and This Is Europe, which looks at how the continent has changed.
