Biography
Dr Christopher Ward SC is a Senior Counsel (silk) at the New South Wales Bar, Australia, and an Honorary Professor of law at the Australian National University. He is an Associate Member of 3 Verulam Buildings Barristers in London and Vice-Chair of the International Law Association.
He works globally in public international law disputes, and has particular interest and expertise in the law of peace and security, sanctions, international immunities and investor-State matters.
He is widely published and the author of International Law and the High Court of Australia (2026).
