Biography
Ellison Laskowski is an Associate Fellow with the US and North America Programme at Chatham House.
She is a former US policymaker and strategist with deep experience executing US foreign policy in the Indo-Pacific and Europe. Ellison recently served as Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for East Asian and Pacific Affairs. She has held previous roles at the National Security Council and the United States Senate. As a US diplomat her assignments included overseas postings in Moscow and Taipei.
Ellison has also been a Senior Fellow at the German Marshall Fund of the United States. She holds degrees from Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service and Wake Forest University.
