Johanna Tilkanen

Biography
Johanna Tilkanen is a project manager at the Environment and Society Programme. At Chatham House she manages projects on the circular economy, climate and energy and sustainable trade and specializes in research on the global transition to an inclusive circular economy.
Before joining Chatham House, she worked at Bioregional, a sustainability charity and social enterprise managing projects on corporate sustainability strategy and organizational circular economy transition.
Working with stakeholders from governments, business and civil society organizations she also coordinated a global multi-stakeholder partnership driving action to implement the Sustainable Development Goal 12, Sustainable Consumption and Production focussing on the sustainable transition of the ICT industry.
Johanna holds an MSc in Environmental Technology, Global Environmental Change and Policy from Imperial College London and MSoc Sci on Contemporary History from the University of Turku.
