Johanna Tilkanen
Programme Manager, Environment and Society Centre
Biography
Johanna Tilkanen is a Programme Manager at the Environment and Society Centre of Chatham House where she provides operational support for the centre and oversees and manages projects with a focus on sustainable use of natural resources.
Before joining Chatham House, she worked at Bioregional, a sustainability charity and social enterprise, managing projects on corporate sustainability strategy and circular economy transition. She has also worked on innovations for sustainable agriculture at a small company in Finland.
Johanna holds an MSc in Environmental Technology, Global Environmental Change and Policy from Imperial College London and an MSocSci as well as a BSocSci in Contemporary History from the University of Turku.
