Mohammed Alardhi

Mohammed Bin Mahfoodh Alardhi is the Executive Chairman of Investcorp. Since assuming the role in 2015, he has led the firm’s transformation, growing assets under management from USD 10 billion to USD 60 billion, diversifying its asset classes and expanding its global footprint across the US, Europe, the Middle East and Asia. He previously served on Investcorp’s Board of Directors from 2008.

Mohammed is a retired Air Vice Marshal and was the youngest and longest serving Chief of the Omani Air Force. In recognition of his service, he was awarded the Order of Oman by the late Sultan Qaboos bin Said.

In addition to Investcorp, he serves as Chairman of the Muscat Stock Exchange and holds several international advisory roles, including with the Brookings Institution, the World Economic Forum and Harvard University. He is the author of three books, including Connecting to the Future, a US bestseller published in 2023.
