Roberto Waack

Biography
Roberto Waack is a Chatham House associate fellow. He is an entrepreneur and business leader of private companies, including in the pharmaceutical and forest sectors. Roberto is also a board member of various Brazilian companies and civil society organizations, including Marfrig, Wise Plásticos SA, Synergia, Instituto Arapyaú, the Ethos Institute and WWF-Brasil.
Previously he held positions on the boards of the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) and the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI).
Roberto is a founding member of multi-stakeholder organizations such as the Brazilian Coalition on Climate, Forests and Agriculture and One Concertation for the Amazon, and is a Chatham House associate fellow. Roberto is a biologist and holds a master’s in Business Administration from the University of São Paulo.
