Biography
Sung-Yoon Lee is an Associate Fellow with the Asia-Pacific Programme at Chatham House. He is a Principal Fellow at Sejong Institute, a leading private think tank in Seoul. Previously, he taught for 23 years at his alma mater, The Fletcher School, Tufts University, upon receiving his PhD in 1998.
His 2023 book, The Sister, has received praise from numerous outlets, including International Affairs, The Economist, Guardian, Times Literary Supplement, Daily Mail, New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Foreign Policy, Booklist, Shelf Awareness, Australian, El Pais, etc.
