Members' drinks and exhibition

A showcase of a selection of the Black Cultural Archives photo exhibition of up-and-coming Black British leaders.

Event date and time: 27 October 2022 — 18:00 TO 20:00 BST

Event location: In person — Chatham House

Chatham House is pleased to showcase a selection of the Black Cultural Archives photo exhibition of up-and-coming Black British leaders. These portraits illuminate the talent and pipeline of ‘next gen’ leaders in the Black British community – some of whom will be in attendance at the reception. The chair of the Black British Cultural Archives, Dr Yvonne Thompson, will make short remarks at around 18:20 BST.

We hope you will join your fellow members and Chatham House staff for a chance to connect and celebrate.

You are welcome to attend the event Black perspectives on International Relations preceding the reception.

Please note as space is limited, this event is operating a ballot for registrations. Your place will be confirmed by Tuesday 25 October if you are successful.

Event format and who can attend

Post-event networking receptions that enable members to meet speakers, staff and vice versa. We also host a summer and Christmas party for members and two 'new members’ receptions each year.

Held in either our Henry Price or Neil Malcom rooms, they are primarily member only events, but occasionally they are balloted with places available to those who register their interest.

By registering for this event, attendees agree to our code of conduct, ensuring a respectful, inclusive, and welcoming space for diverse perspectives and debate.
