Members’ networking reception: Meet the Council

Members are invited to join us for an evening with members of Chatham House’s council.

Members are warmly invited to join us for an evening of networking following the 104th annual general meeting (AGM).

Our unrivalled network of members come from diverse backgrounds, including business, diplomacy, politics, media, civil society and academia. Members also include students and young people who are the next generation of thinkers in international affairs.

Join us to connect with fellow members and meet Chatham House staff and council members, who are shaping the future of the institute.

Those attending the AGM are automatically registered for this event. Due to high demand, unfortunately, guests are not permitted at the reception.

Event format and who can attend

Post-event networking receptions that enable members to meet speakers, staff and vice versa. We also host a summer and Christmas party for members and two 'new members’ receptions each year. 

Held in either our Henry Price or Neil Malcom rooms, they are primarily member only events, but occasionally they are balloted with places available to those who register their interest. 

By registering for this event, attendees agree to our code of conduct, ensuring a respectful, inclusive, and welcoming space for diverse perspectives and debate.
