Against a backdrop of fluctuation in international order, the United Kingdom continues to renew its commitment to NATO, using its joint delegation to ensure the UK remains influential in NATO activities. But to what degree will British interests remain aligned with NATO’s future priorities over the next decade?
At this event, UK Permanent Representative to the North Atlantic Council, Dame Sarah MacIntosh, discusses NATO’s priorities for 2030 and what the UK’s role will be in realizing these aims. What are the main challenges to a values-based international order? Who is expected to be the main actors in the coming years? And in what ways are modern conflicts changing in nature and how can NATO remain fit for purpose against such conflicts?
This event is only open to Chatham House Partners and Major Corporate Members as well as selected giving circles of Chatham House. If you would like to attend, please RSVP to Linda Bedford at [email protected].
