On the 5 September 2022, it was announced that Liz Truss is to become the new UK prime minister. Inevitably inheriting many domestic and international challenges, Europe should be one of the key priorities for the new leader.

As ambassador and head of the UK Mission to the European Union (EU), Lindsay Croisdale-Appleby CMG is focused on improving relations between Brussels and London.
