At this webinar, Dr Gwen Ramokgopa, treasurer general of the ANC, discusses the ANC’s renewal agenda and its plans for delivering national economic growth.

Event date and time: 23 March 2023 — 13:00 TO 14:00 GMT

Event location: Online

South Africa’s party of government, the African National Congress (ANC), is pushing ahead with its plan for party renewal, with a focus on basic service delivery, addressing state capture and corruption and people’s participation in development.

However, concerns remain about the achievability of these goals at a time where party factionalism is rife and the country’s economic forecast is weak.

The national energy crisis, which is leaving households and businesses without power for hours at a time, is compounding high unemployment and the rising of cost of living.

At this webinar, Dr Gwen Ramokgopa, treasurer general of the ANC, discusses the ANC’s renewal agenda and its plans for delivering national economic growth.

This event will also be broadcast live via the Africa Programme Facebook page.
