This workshop will explore the multifaceted and shared security challenges across North Africa: from countering terrorism and violent extremism to illicit flows and cross-border human trafficking. It will seek to identify policy options for North African policymakers and practitioners to best address these challenges through both security-based and stabilization-oriented approaches while examining potential areas for mutually beneficial cooperation when facing common threats.
