Research event
24 September 2020 — 2:00PM TO 5:00PM
Online

As the US and China continue to vie for influence on the world stage, what are the implications for the transatlantic partnership and international security? Do the US and Europe have a shared understanding of the security challenges posed by China? What is the extent of transatlantic cooperation regarding China’s role in the South China Sea, Taiwan, and Hong Kong? What role does and should NATO play in coordinating US and European policy towards China? And what security implications does China’s quest for technological leadership have for the US and Europe?

This workshop is part of our multi-year initiative which aims to understand American, Canadian and European policy towards China in a range of critical policy areas and is organized in partnership with the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung.
