The war in Ukraine has had a huge impact on global security, economic stability and political alignments. At home, Ukraine faces immense challenges regardless of the outcome, including devastation of its economy and infrastructure, emigration of millions of people and widespread trauma.
These mean that the future of the war in Ukraine remains highly uncertain. In recent work in collaboration with Kyiv Foresight Foundation, Chatham House explored possible scenarios for the evolution of the war. In this webinar, we will present these scenarios, together with the US and European experts discussing the implications for the US national interests and European security.
Key questions include:
- What are the key drivers of the outcome of the war in Ukraine?
- Will Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity be preserved?
- What impact will a flawed peace deal have in Ukraine and beyond?
This event will present the foresight analysis conducted by the Kyiv Foresight Foundation in collaboration with Chatham House.
