Two of the world’s four largest natural disasters of the last half century have happened in Pakistan: the 2005 Kashmir earthquake and now the floods. With many millions uprooted from their homes, without livelihoods and at risk of illness, the challenges for the international community and Pakistan are of great magnitude.
