The Liberal Democrats kicked off Britain’s party conference season when they met in Bournemouth. The Conservatives and Labour gather in October in Manchester and Liverpool respectively. The conferences serve as a platform to flesh out policies and unveil new ones. This year is particularly important as 2024 is expected to be an election year and the conferences will set the tone for the upcoming battle.
