Russia’s war in Ukraine has already caused $144 billion of damage to Ukraine’s infrastructure, with 25,000 km of roads and 344 bridges rendered unusable by Russian military actions.

In frontline and recently liberated areas, local communities are trying to fix the damage done by the Russian invaders. But with external funding limited, the reconstruction efforts outstretch the resources of local governments.
