Bianka Venkataramani

Coordinator, Global Governance and Security Centre

Biography

Bianka is a coordinator for the Global Governance and Security Centre at Chatham House, managing the International Security Programme and the Digital Society Programme. Her research interests focus on South and Southeast Asian Geopolitics, with a specialization in Philippine security policy.

Prior to joining Chatham House, Bianka worked for the International Security team at RUSI, and before that with the University of Lancaster’s External Relations team. She also served as Communications Coordinator for the Richardson Institute for Peace Research and NGO Representative to the UNDPI for the World Youth Organization.

Bianka holds a BA in Peace Studies and International Relations and an MA in Diplomacy and International Law, both from the University of Lancaster.
