Biography
Chris Aylett is a research fellow in the Environment and Society Centre at Chatham House, currently focusing on the interactions between geopolitics, trade, fossil fuels and low-carbon technology.
Chris has published research on climate change cooperation, carbon border adjustment mechanisms and transboundary climate risks, communicating complex emerging issues to policymakers and providing practical recommendations. He has advised governments on climate diplomacy and the energy transition, and regularly contributes analysis to international news media.
Previously, Chris managed an international research consortium investigating the drivers of entrepreneurship in different contexts. Chris holds an MSc in global energy and climate policy from SOAS, University of London.
