Chris Aylett

Biography

Chris Aylett is a research associate in the Environment and Society Centre at Chatham House. His work focuses on the environmental, economic, social and geopolitical impacts of climate and energy policy.

Since joining Chatham House in 2020 he has worked on a range of projects including the UK-China Cooperation on Climate Change Risk Assessment, CASCADES Climate Risks and Carbon Neutrality and Energy Security in the UK and EU.


Prior to joining Chatham House, Chris managed a large international research consortium investigating the drivers of entrepreneurship in different contexts. He has also worked in the music industry.

Chris holds an MSc in global energy and climate policy from SOAS, University of London, and a BA in French language and literature from University College London.
