Chris Aylett has been a Coordinator in the Environment and Society Programme since joining Chatham House in October 2020.

Chris has a keen interest in the environmental, economic, social and geopolitical impacts of the energy transition, and has worked on projects assessing climate risk in China, Europe and worldwide.

Prior to joining Chatham House, Chris managed a large international research consortium investigating the drivers of entrepreneurship in different contexts. He has also worked in the music industry.

Chris holds an MSc in global energy and climate policy from SOAS, University of London and a BA in French language and literature from University College London.
