Biography
Minna Ålander is a research fellow at the Finnish Institute of International Affairs and a non-resident fellow with the Transatlantic Defense and Security Program at the Center for European Policy Analysis (CEPA).
Her research focuses on security in Northern Europe, Nordic defence cooperation, Arctic security, NATO, hybrid warfare, as well as German and Finnish security and defence policy.
Previously, Ålander worked at the German Institute for International and Security Affairs (SWP) in Berlin. She holds a joint Master’s degree in International Relations from the Free University of Berlin, the Humboldt University of Berlin and the University of Potsdam.
