Our second annual Circular Economy Conference tackles the following questions:

  • Can an inclusive circular economy reconcile the tension between economic growth and sustainability?
  • Does a circular economy transition mean less or more global trade?

It also discusses how to make circular economy finance work for global development. The conference includes sessions in friendly debate style, with speakers including representatives from the World Trade Organization, African Development Bank, UNCTAD, Intesa Sanpaolo and Oxfam, and a keynote address from Inger Andersen, Executive Director of the United Nations Environment Programme.

This year, the conference will take place on Chatham House’s new bespoke online events platform, where participants will be able to access more event information, and network with speakers and other attendees.
