Experts discuss the potential impact of conservative policy on Ukraine, the Middle East and elsewhere.

As the US election season unfolds, understanding and preparing for a conservative foreign policy and a possible Republican leadership is essential.

Fred Fleitz, former deputy assistant to President Donald Trump and chief of staff of the National Security Council, recently co-authored a report on Russia’s war in Ukraine. In it, he argued for the need to establish a plan to end the war and ‘not simply provide weapons for a conflict that appears to have become a long-term stalemate’.

This event discusses:

  • The key tenets of US conservative foreign policy in today’s climate;
  • How conservative foreign policy might address current global security threats in Ukraine and in the Middle East;
  • What impact could these policies have on US relations with major international players.
