Since 2011, there has been broad consensus that to achieve economic stabilization and prosperity across North Africa, a new transformative economic agenda is necessary. An important dimension of this new agenda is exploring areas for cooperation across the region which will help enhance competitiveness of the growing private sector. From addressing the labour market-skills mismatch, to unlocking the potential of emerging industries, many of the region’s challenges can transition into opportunities.

This workshop will examine the current state of cooperation across North Africa while exploring emerging sectors, new partners, new synergies and new models that will aid and support countries’ respective transformation agendas.
