This taskforce convened a group of international experts from NGOs, academia, government and non-governmental organizations to discuss how best to help Belarusian civil society organisations.
The discussion covered the new challenges and long-term solutions for Belarusian civil society, and how to increase its resilience in a post-Lukashenka era. Participants offered recommendations for Western governments and international organisations in their policy-making towards supporting Belarus’s third sector.
