The Sustainability Accelerator is launching a new flagship series: Sustainability Accelerator Speakeasy at Chatham House.
On 30 September, come talk and share a drink with changemakers, activists, policymakers and businesses – everyone – to connect and exchange ideas, and discuss the values we need to reach a sustainable future. What can we learn from philosophy and history, science and technology, economics and finance, spirituality and art to shape the future we want?
The Sustainability Accelerator Speakeasy Series will bring together people from different places, sectors, and backgrounds, to provide thought-provoking and fun talks that will broaden your knowledge and bring to life the discussion on values we need for the future we want, accompanied by drinks and nibbles - drawing inspiration from the illicit speakeasys of 1920s USA, and the political and philosophical debates of French salons in the eighteenth century.
The first event is free and drinks will be provided. We will have a collection box to donate towards the Sustainability Accelerator’s new microgrant initiative.
