Sustainability Accelerator UnConference 2022

How can we enable humanity and the planet to thrive together in the long term?

Event date and time: 16 September 2022 — 09:30 TO 18:00 BST

Event location: In person — Chatham House

Do you have ideas to solve some of the biggest long-term challenges? Are you underwhelmed by traditional conferences? Are you seeking a forum for participatory ideas and discussion? Then join us for the 2022 Sustainability Accelerator UnConference, where this year we will discuss how we can enable humanity and the planet to thrive together in the long term.

The Sustainability Accelerator UnConference is a participatory one-day event bringing together thinkers from a wide range of backgrounds to discuss challenges and solutions to reach a sustainable future over the long term and how we can take action now.

This year, we want to hear your ideas for how humanity and the planet can thrive over the long term – this might be on the link between sustainability and opportunities from innovation; possible new forms of governance and decision making; how to enact change for generations of the future; as well as risks and opportunities from AI, the financial system, education, design – and more. To get more of an idea about the UnConference, you can see an overview of our UnConference in 2021 here.

If you want to be involved in thinking about the future, then we want you to come along.

We hope to welcome you in person on Friday, 16 September 2022 at Chatham House. Please RSVP by registering your interest.

Event format and who can attend

Conferences bring together global policymakers, business leaders and civil society experts. Over one or two days, they feature on the record keynotes and high-level panel discussions, and ‘under the Rule’ spotlights, ensuring multi-stakeholder collaboration and the advancement of conversation on the key issues facing the world today.

Held in our Joseph Gaggero Hall, conferences are primarily paid for events with places available to everyone, including preferential rates for our corporate members. Occasionally, they are invitation only or balloted, with places available to those who register their interest.

By registering for this event, attendees agree to our code of conduct, ensuring a respectful, inclusive, and welcoming space for diverse perspectives and debate.
