Event recording

This event explored the intersection of key sustainability concepts such as the Triple Bottom Line and Green Swans, with government-led climate action.

We investigate the potential role of a Planetary Welcare state framework. How can it contribute to addressing the pressing challenges we now face in achieving holistic wellbeing for both humans and the planet? And how can such thinking help shape a blueprint for just and sustainable trade?

Under the UKRI GCRF Trade, Development and the Environment Hub, Chatham House has been collaborating with experts from around the world, helping make trade sustainable for people and the planet.

This event was hosted as a part of London Climate Action Week 2023.
