Italy: Moving On

There are widespread predictions in Italy that Silvio Berlusconi’s days as prime minister are almost over. Voters seem likely to choose a centre-left coalition instead. But political rebirth is still a possibility, since one of the first acts of the parliament will be to elect a new president.
