Together they cover more than eighty percent of world economic activity, so their actions can make a real difference. Elected world leaders need to touch the daily lives of ordinary people the world over. Suffering as many are from shell-shock, disbelief and distress, they crave more than platitudes and empty promises to rebuild businesses, livelihoods and savings.
