Biography

Leena Badri is the Mo Ibrahim Foundation Academy fellow working with the International Security Programme. Her current research focuses on examining the relationship between vulnerable states and their resources, and what it tells us about the possibility of conflict.

She holds a BA in International Relations and Peace, Conflict, and Justice Studies from the University of Toronto, and recently received her MA in International and Social Public Policy from the London School of Economics and Political Science. Leena also has previous research experience in peace and conflict cycles, civil society mobilization and resource inequality issues particularly related to the HOA and MENA region.
