Leena Badri

Biography
Leena Badri is the Mo Ibrahim Academy Fellow with the International Security Programme. Her current research focuses on examining how resource scarcity issues propel violence in vulnerable environments, and what role civil society can play in preventing conflict.
She holds a BA in International Relations and Peace, Conflict, and Justice Studies from the University of Toronto, and recently received her MA in International and Social Public Policy from the London School of Economics and Political Science. Leena also has previous research experience in peace and conflict cycles, civil society mobilization and resource inequality issues particularly related to the HOA and MENA region.
