This has been quite a year for women’s anger. The #MeToo movement has continued to grow, expanding to fit revelations from women across the world, and consuming the careers of those men accused of misconduct. The Kavanaugh hearing fed the flames as the media watched Christine Blasey Ford and Judge Brett Kavanaugh give evidence before the latter was appointed to the US Supreme Court. Questions were posed about the fairness of a trial by media, and President Donald Trump claimed it was ‘a very scary time for young men in America’ who might be accused of sexual misconduct.
