Protopresbyter Serhiy Antoniuk fought in Afghanistan as part of the Soviet forces, and when the war started in Ukraine in 2014, he became a chaplain with the armed forces of Ukraine.

Following Russia’s all-out invasion of Ukraine on February 24, 2022, he joined the territorial defence forces. He talks about war affects you as a person, how this invasion differs from other conflicts he has experienced, and how his faith can help.
