Biography
Dr Bruno Binetti is an analyst and consultant specialising in international political economy, geoeconomics, US–Latin America relations, and China’s economic statecraft. He holds a PhD in International Relations from the London School of Economics, where his research examined Chinese renewable energy projects in Latin America, focusing on their institutional, economic, and political dynamics.
With over 12 years of experience in academia, think tanks, and consulting across Argentina, the United States, and the United Kingdom, Bruno has advised governments, businesses, and multilateral institutions on Latin American political and economic trends.
He previously served as a senior researcher at the Inter-American Dialogue in Washington, an advisor to the City Government of Buenos Aires, and an associate professor at Torcuato Di Tella University. His expertise spans energy policy, infrastructure development, and economic statecraft, and he is a frequent commentator on these topics.
